This is an acclimated tissue culture: a young plant started in a lab and already adjusted to life outside the flask here in our Tucson plant room. It's potted in a 3" pot and is rooted and growing.

Highly variegated leaves have less chlorophyll, so they grow more slowly and are more sensitive to light.
Plants D and E: Light variegation on these two. Color can shift as new leaves come in, but there's no guarantee it will increase.
Why tissue culture? It's a great way to grow a rare plant from a young age at a lower price than a mature plant.
