We partner with EcoEnclose, a leader in sustainable shipping supplies, for our boxes and mailers. EcoEnclose materials are made from recycled content and are fully recyclable or compostable at end of life — so your unboxing experience doesn't come at the planet's expense.
Kapok Instead of Polyfill
To keep your plants safe and snug in transit, we use kapok — a natural, plant-based fiber harvested from the seed pods of the kapok tree. It's biodegradable, renewable, and a genuinely better alternative to synthetic polyfill. Your plants arrive protected, and nothing ends up in a landfill.
Substrates Made with the Earth in Mind
Our commitment to sustainability doesn't stop at the box — it starts in the soil. We formulate our substrates using pumice instead of perlite, and coco coir instead of peat moss. Pumice is a naturally occurring volcanic mineral that's mined with minimal processing and lasts indefinitely in the mix. Coco coir is a renewable byproduct of coconut processing, while peat moss takes thousands of years to form and is harvested from ecologically sensitive bogs. Every plant that leaves Nature House is potted in a mix that's better for your plant and better for the planet.
